Chemistry for this kit

Sub-ohm tanks and mods deliver real vapour per pull, so they run on freebase at 3 or 6 mg — not 20 mg salt. Putting salt nic in a sub-ohm tank is the most common 'why does this feel awful' mistake.

Coil cost over time

Sub-ohm coils cost more per pack than pod-kit coils but last similar timelines. Two coils a month is normal. Heavier wattage shortens that.

External batteries (if applicable)

Mods that take 18650 or 21700 cells need them sold separately. Never use damaged wraps. Charge cells in a proper external charger, not via the device's USB-C.

MTL vs DTL draw

Tighter mouth-to-lung draw mimics a cigarette pull. Looser direct-to-lung gives the big-cloud feel. Most tanks are tuned for one or the other.

Wattage band

Stay inside the wattage range stamped on the coil. Cranking past it shortens coil life from weeks to days and turns the throat hit harsh.

Solo or rotation

Two coils in rotation, swapped every few days, almost always outlasts running one coil to death.

Prime new coils

Three to five drops on the cotton through every wicking hole, then fill the tank and rest five minutes before the first pull. Same priming rule as a pod kit — bigger surface area.

Rotate coils

Swapping coils every few days instead of running one until burnt keeps flavour clean and saves the wick from going scorched-cotton.

Tank seals

Don't crank the cap past finger-tight. Over-torquing the threads is the quickest path to a leaky tank.
